Introducing our Evolving Education Grant! Guilford Fund for Education recognizes that our educational landscape is ever changing. Our mission focuses on furthering excellence in the educational experience for Guilford youth through innovative and creative ideas. In other words, for Guilford Public Schools and preschools, we fund proposals that offer educational activities, events, or projects that enhance the curriculum and support student learning in new and different ways. For not-for-profit organizations in Guilford, GFFE grants support educational initiatives that align with each mission and deepen children’s learning experience. Our grants focus on education in the areas of STEM, the arts and cultural awareness, and social and emotional supports.
We are offering an alternative to our standard grant to support the needs of educators through this Evolving Education Grant program. This option provides up to $500 per teacher/staff included in the grant, not to exceed $1,500. If teachers in the same Professional Learning Community or grade are pursuing an idea together that exceeds $1,500, The GFFE would ask that you consider the proposal for the standard GFFE grant.
We encourage applicants to apply by downloading and filling out the application below and submitting it to minigrants@gffe.org. Please note this application is open to Guilford Public Schools, Guilford preschools and community organizations. We will make every effort to review grants and provide funding in a timely manner.
