Community Nursery School was recently awarded a grant to help them bring cultural enrichment to their students. The goal is to help students value and explore different backgrounds and world cultures. The grant will enable the school to enhance and diversify the educational materials available to students and to incorporate those into more cultural learning and discussions.
Given that these are young students, the focus will be on the typical daily life of children around the world; what they eat, what they wear on an average day as well as their traditional dress. Art, holidays, language, and customs are all an important part of our cultural enrichment curriculum and exposing students early on in their lives is the objective of this grant.
