Adult Spelling Bee

Location: Guilford High School - Commons & Performing Arts Center

Time: Friday, May 3rd - Event at 7pm (must register by April 26th)

Information:

The Adult Spelling Bee has been the flagship fundraiser for GFFE.  It is an opportunity to bring community organizations, businesses, schools, PTOs and local officials together to promote GFFE’s great work as well as to create a fun evening for 4 person teams (3 participate on stage, 1 alternate cheers in the audience) to compete in spelling challenging words.  Participants can be high schoolers or adults. Participants can be high schoolers or adults.) to compete in spelling challenging words.  Traditionally, creativity peaks for teams as they both dress in costume and choose names that are bee-themed. Approximately 200 people attend the event including participants, audience members, volunteers, and presenters.

Everyone is invited to attend free of charge.  (Children not yet in high school must be accompanied by their family.)
