A Big Thank You to Our Founding Members!
Founder's Campaign Update
The GFFE Fall Founder's Campaign began in October 2006, and it was a tremendous success.
We invited our Guilford friends and neighbors to become Founding members of the Guilford Fund for Education and to be associated with excellence in education in perpetuity. The Founders were asked to make a $1,000 gift. Up to the first $50,000 raised, the gifts were eligible for matching money from the Guilford Foundation ($25,000) and an anonymous donor ($25,000).
By the close of the campaign, 64 Founders had stepped forward and the GFFE received the full matching funds of $50.000.00!
The fall campaign also raised another $8626.00 in donations from an additional 91 people. We would like to thank the Guilford Community for its generosity.
